The risks involved in a dental implant surgery are:

  • Nerve Damage:– In a dental implant surgery the doctors work near the nerves. A problem may arise due to an unexpected movement. Nerve damage can cause numbness or tingling in your natural teeth. But this problem arises in very rare cases, so there is no need to worry about it.
  • Unsuccessful Implantation:- The titanium implant must fuse into the bone for it to be successful. The bone must grow naturally around the implantation. But the situation is not the same as expected. If the bone fails to adjust with the implant, it may fall off after the procedure.

The patients must choose a well-experienced doctor for such a surgery. By choosing a good doctor, the risk factors affecting the success rate are reduced.
